A Swiss watch house,
between tradition
and tomorrow.
Founded around a question, not a product.
A supernova is rare,
powerful, and largely unpredictable.
It is not a beginning that announces itself in advance. That is the name we chose, and the standard we set: create only when there is a reason to, and only when the reason is worth the making.
Watchmaking possesses an extraordinary heritage. Centuries of craftsmanship, innovation and transmission have shaped an object whose relevance extends far beyond its original function. We hold a deep respect for what that tradition has built, with the confidence of those who know precisely what they stand upon.
Yet that heritage closes no doors. Supernova rejects the idea that the watch is a finished form. The world changes. Technologies change. The ways we live and interact change. So do the questions we ask. Why should the wristwatch stop engaging with them?
Every creation begins
with a question.
Not a question about complications or ornament, but about the role a watch plays in the world as it is now.
The SN 2140 is not our
first product. It is our
first answer.
A Swiss mechanical watch that engages with the technologies reshaping how we live and transact, without ceasing for a moment to be a watch. It was never conceived as a technological demonstration. First and foremost, it is a watch.
Other questions will follow, and with them other answers. Discover the SN 2140 or read the thinking behind it.
Two thousand one hundred
and forty.
A number chosen for what it limits. The run ends where the name does.
Held to the standard
of a watch.
An engineer, drawn to who holds control.
A career in the research and industrialisation of wireless technologies, and a long interest in who holds control over their own data and transactions.
Drawn to what others called unrealistic.
Independent watchmaking, and a conviction that mechanical watches and modern technology had simply never been properly introduced.
They met over lunch, working on another project. Neither nostalgic nor technophile. Simply contemporary.
Made with Swiss specialists.
The sapphire antenna was developed with STISS over two years of research and industrialisation. Lightning payments are processed by Swiss Bitcoin Pay, a FINMA-registered provider.
Part of a Swiss ecosystem.
Based in Lausanne, in the Canton of Vaud, and supported by Trust Village — an incubator backed by SICPA, EPFL and the Canton of Vaud. A finalist in the Luxury Innovation Awards 2026.
A watch made possible by the people, partners and institutions around it.
A finite creation.
Individually numbered. Once the run is allocated, that is the end of it.
Available on pre-order. Estimated delivery: Q1 2027.
